A gown having a two piece fully boned bodice with a center back closure that can be laced or hooked. The center front bodice insert is made of contrasting fabric to which a large beaded ornamentation is added. The large sleeves and neckline are embellished with dagging (dag-a flap along the edge of a garment). The skirt falls smoothly from the hips and has a center back closure. It is trimmed with a contrasting fabric that moves up the skirt into points that are embellished with beaded ornamentation. Full beading and petticoat instructions are included. The shirtwaist of this dress is set off by chevrons of contrasting fabric that are optional. The starched collar and cuffs are removable. Little pleats fall from the bodice front shoulders down into the gathering at the waistline.
