The patterns in this collection are reproductions from actual  patterns of the 1800's.  They  were sized for that period of time and have NOT been adjusted  to today's figure. These patterns are recommended for very experienced seamstresses who have advanced sewing and pattern adjustment skill's.

Pattern #A1466   1870 Basque Belt

This fashionable Basque was originally made of lilac cashmere. Some sewing instructions given. Approx yardage-1 yard of 36" wide fabric.

 This pattern consist of 3 different design ideas with instructions only. Instructions are minimal. Approx yardage is not given.

Pattern #A1006 1887 Corsage with Pleated Surah Vest

This Corsage was made of striped wool in grayish-blue shades, with collar, cuffs of velvet of the darkest tint in the stripes. The vest was of cream-colored surah silk in the open front. Approx yardage-1 1/2 yards stripe fabric, 1 yard velvet and 1 yard surah (silk).

Pattern #A1019   1887 Corsage With Velvet Yoke and Bodice

This corsage for an afternoon dress was made of tan cashmere with bodice, yoke, collar and cuffs made of darker contrasting velvet. Some sewing instructions given. Approx yardage-2 yards light colored fabric 45" wide. 1 yard dark velvet.

Pattern #A1008    1887 Braided Cloth Gown With Bell Skirt

This gown was made of bluet-blue cloth with a vest of dark blue velvet and braiding in dark blue soutache. The waist is a belted blouse, cut low on the velvet vest, with the fronts connected by a clasp. Some sewing instructions given. Approx yardage-5 1/2 yards of 54" fabric and 1 yard of velvet.

Pattern #A1273  1888 Red Satin & Brocade Toilette

The toilette illustrated was composed of Rembrandt red satin combined with brocaded satin that has a salmon colored ground with large flowered design in red. The train is 2 yards long. The pattern consists of bodice, overskirt and skirt. Approx yardage-14 yards brocade 45" wide, 4 1/2 yards satin 45" wide, 3 1/4 yards skirt silk 45" wide.

This blouse waist is made of woolen or silk material of various colors, to wear with different skirts. Some sewing instructions given. Approx yardage-2 2/3 yards of 45" wide fabric.
